Assistance with maintenance of instruments and in the development of new methods or modifications to procedures will also be required. Additionally it is to ensure that high quality data is produced in accordance with prescribed methods and standard operating procedures and that data is analyzed and reported in a timely manner in order to meet client deadlines. We provide our customers with reports on their requested testing for each sample with an average two-day turn-around time. To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform each essential duty satisfactorily. He/She will be responsible for planning, directing, supervising, and monitoring the systems, processes, and activities of the Accounts Payable department to ensure smooth transaction processing, optimize employee productivity, and contribute to maximizing profitability and cash flows of the ALS USA Group.  In addition, this role is responsible for continuous improvement across the procure to pay the process, as well as supporting the Oracle roll out to recently acquired companies. - Plan, evaluate, implement and continuously improve all aspects of the procure to pay process. - Management of the Accounts Payable team, including troubleshooting and dashboard (KPI) review. - Ensure professional relationships are established and maintained with suppliers/vendors and internal stakeholders. - Daily review of Oracle invoice holds and management of hold resolution. - Management of the weekly payment proposals. - AP processing for select vendors. - Direct interaction with suppliers in resolving operational holds, delinquencies/ delays and urgent payment requests to avoid service interruptions. - implementation of all accounts payable process controls required by the group, including but not limited to full application of authorization matrix and segregation of duties. - Drive IDR usage and / or manage transition to new OCR tool. - Train new team members as needed. - Serve as back up for team for PTO/vacation. - Support special projects (i.e. Oracle AP enhancements, Invoice amortization processing, implementation of new OCR tool). - Support new acquisitions’ transition to Oracle including data validation, testing, change-management, training and issue resolution. - Manage information requests during external, internal, and tax audits. - Manage 1099 process. - Other duties as assigned.

Will need to meet daily deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and a minimum wastage of consumables working in tangent and support of the Supervisor. Responsibilities this position includes are cleaning, QC’ing and shipping laboratory sampling equipment to customers. - Ensuring that equipment orders are fulfilled daily with a high degree of accuracy. - Overseeing staff within the section. - Ensuring all duties within the section are conducted in accordance with the Quality Procedures Manual. - Prioritizing the work received for the section. - Training and developing of section staff. - Routine maintenance of vacuum pumps, conditioners and ovens (equipment) - Monitoring equipment/instrument performance, identifying deviations from specifications and notifying Laboratory Manager if the equipment and/or instrument are not operating to specifications, including when equipment/instrument QC fall outside control limits. - Clean sampling equipment - this involves the use of vacuum pressure manifolds, ovens, basic hand tools like wrenches and pliers - Calibrate flow controllers, repair canister valves - Take direction from Supervisor regarding equipment maintenance and canister cleaning - Learn all procedures performed in the department and insure these procedures comply with SOPs and good laboratory practices. - Maintaining documentation of samples, standards, reports and instrument/method logs. - Investigating and rectifying anomalies. - Perform housekeeping duties as required. - Control consumable stock required for the tasks performed. - Other duties as assigned.
