About the role:
The Laboratory Analyst is responsible for performing analysis in various matrices in the organic department using GC/GC-MS instrumentation. This position will also perform routine functions such as sample preparation and lab maintenance. During peak sample periods to cover extended hours of operation and week-end shifts.

Prepare and standardize reagents and solutions as required;

Prepare calibration and quality control standards, duplicate and spike samples;

Clean all glassware and other containers required for sample preparation and analysis;

Analyst samples on the GC/GC-MS instrumentation;

Evaluate data and troubleshoot problems with instruments, support equipment, and sample preparation processes;

Perform instrument/equipment calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair as required;

Organize workload to meet Turn Around Times (TATs) and hold times;

About the role:
The Manager shall provide overall project management, leadership, cost and schedule control for ERP implementation and rationalization efforts. The scope of this program includes both technology and business transformation across Finance and Supply Chain.
In this role, the Project Manager will provide the necessary leadership and project management for the creation and design of ERP systems solutions architecture and its successful implementation. She/he will oversee integrated solution design, configuration and development tasks that include not only the technology architecture but also the related business processes and change management required for the design and roll out to be successful. This requires strong leadership of both internal staff and external implementation partners, and close engagement with the executive steering committee and business stream and functional leaders (ultimate clients).
The individual will work closely in collaboration with current IT and Business Leadership to manage both domain-specific work streams as well as establish and maintain an integrated approach that ensures all functional areas work seamlessly together, serving as an expert resource, bringing forth opportunities to leverage the ERP solution to support the efficient running and growth of our organization.
- The immediate priority of this manager is to manage the implementation of the Oracle Cloud solution in the ALS Canada business replacing an existing ERP (Navision). Scope includes Financials and Supply Chain, while also implementing priority enhancements to the USA instance of Oracle Cloud.
- Engage with leaders in other regions and business streams that are currently leading ERP consolidation, implementation, and improvement efforts, including Latin America, Europe, and APAC regions, to determine best method for reporting cost and schedule oversight for those and develop project reporting template to report status at an executive level.
- Drive a coordinated approach to assess and define the existing ERP landscape globally, evaluate and recommend ERP-related business process changes and technical system integration across all related ERP domains to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
- Coordinate the contributions of external consultants, business functional leads, SME’s and Program Developers, as well as other stakeholders from across the
- Understand business drivers and business capabilities (current and future state) and determine corresponding ERP solution architecture design and change requirements to drive targeted business outcomes. Provide subject matter expertise and leading edge-thinking on trends, methodologies, tools, and techniques that will be useful to ERP program activities.
- Ensure ERP design and configuration work are being conducted based on a well-developed ERP solutions architecture and a detailed set of business, functional and technical requirements. Ensure effective ownership and execution of an agile based systems development lifecycle

- Manage ERP Business Owner and Executive Sponsor Decision Making Process: Support and prepare for ERP Steering Committee Meetings. Accountable to the project sponsor (CFO), and the steering committee as it relates to budgets, timelines, and progress.
- Oversee ERP Deployment Planning and Rollout: Work with the Core Team, IT, Business Leadership and implementation vendors to create a comprehensive ERP deployment and country rollout strategy and Oversee the effective rollout of the global ERP solution, including successful change management.
- Provide Technical and Functional Leadership of the ERP Core Team: Coach, mentor, and influence Technical and Business Core Team members. Ensure domain-specific project management tasks for the ERP program are being effectively conducted and delivered.
- Provide Implementation Partner Engagement Management Oversight: Working ERP implementation vendors and other third-party consulting partners to ensure strategic goals are met and maintained to drive the best cost effective approach.
